Dr Troy Cheng

Dr Troy Cheng grew up in Taiwan before moving to Australia to pursue his dream in Dentistry. He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from James Cook University in Queensland and moved down to Sydney to continue his path in dentistry. Dr Troy loves all aspects of dentistry and has special interests in cosmetic and Paediatric dentistry.

He believes the best part of being a dentist is helping patients who are in pain gain more comfort with their smiles. With his gentle and calming manner, he is great at helping patients (both big and small) feel relaxed in a dental setting. In the past, Dr Troy has volunteered in Cambodia and practised in Cairns, Townsville, and Launceston before settling in Sydney. Being brought up in Taiwan, Dr Troy is fluent in both Mandarin and Taiwanese and is very caring towards all of his patients.

Dr Troy is currently undertaking several courses in ongoing professional development and strives to provide tailored and up-to-date dental care to all his patients. Outside of work, Dr Troy is interested in cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends. He also loves playing basketball to burn off all those extra calories from the sweets he makes.
